Are your teas and spices organic?

Yes, most of our teas are organic. If "Organic" is in the title, it means the tea is USDA certified organic. This certification requires us to go through a rigorous process and regular inspections to meet USDA standards. All USDA Organic teas on our website will display the USDA logo. Teas without "Organic" in the name are not organic.

Does Organic mean it is NON-GMO as well?

Yes! Any food product that is certified organic is required to be non-GMO; this is a primary objective of the US National Organic Program. Further, certified organic foods cannot be intentionally treated with glyphosate.

While they don’t spoil, herbs and spices lose potency over time. Stored in airtight containers in a cool, dark, dry place, whole herbs and spices last 3–4 years, while ground ones last 1–2 years. Our specialty pouches help preserve freshness, aroma, and potency.

Our tea pouches feature a strong, clear film on one side and a protective aluminum foil layer on the other. This FDA-approved, food-grade material acts as a powerful barrier against moisture, vapor, and odors, preserving the delicate flavors and aromas of our teas.
Spice Packaging:
Our spice pouches are crafted with a specialized three-layer design. The back layer includes a metalized film to block oxygen, moisture, and light, while the front features a transparent, high-barrier material to maintain the freshness, texture, and potency of our spices.

We don’t accept returns, (see our shipping & returns page) but we want every sip of our tea to be an experience—comforting, invigorating, or soothing, depending on your choice. To help you find the perfect match, we provide detailed flavor profiles, describing whether a tea is sweet, floral, earthy, spicy, citrusy, fruity, malty, nutty, smoky, vegetal, or bitter. Taste is personal, and while every tea has unique benefits, we do our best to capture its essence so you can fully enjoy your perfect cuppa.
